Last week I had the pleasure to spend a night at the Lausanne Palace Spa hotel (which is totally different then the last hotel concept I introduced to you right!?), to discover its infrastructure and all it has to offer. And of course, I didn’t go alone. Once my room was booked, I picked up my phone and called my dear friend and fellow blogger Wallace. She and I share the same passion for picture taking and blogging. But we also often have very interesting conversations. Some deeper than others. Without counting the endless laughing sessions.
ABOUT THE LAUSANNE PALACE SPA
The Lausanne Palace Spa five-stars luxury hotel. It is a modern, sumptuous partly renovated mansion, located in the heart of Lausanne next to St François, between the city center and the train station, three steps away. Inaugurated in 1915 the Lausanne Palace hotel has ever since been growing in prestige and has everything to offer. Several restaurants – one of which has received the Michelin star with 18 points Gault&Millau, luxurious bars, a spa and conferences rooms are here to keep its visitors on the their toes.
ABOUT THE WELCOMING
As I arrived at the Lausanne Palace Spa hotel, I sat at the bar by the reception with my friend, where I was offered a drink, which I sipped slowly while we started talking and already laughing. Amidst the stories, the General Manager Monsieur Rivier and the Sales & Marketing Coordinator Monsieur Correia, came to warmly welcome me and my friend. We then kept on talking, before going up to our room shortly after that.
ABOUT THE STAY
My friend and I got to the room, our bags were already there waiting, we had a little room tour which we posted on Instagram story (@turning point_sg) and then went out for some food. Cause the beast was awake, and you don’t make it wait. As we got back to the hotel later on, one of the staff surprised us with beautiful bottle of champagne.
ABOUT THE SUITE
I was given a suite going by the name of Juan Antonio Samaranch, which I lately realized was in memory of a passing member, who was the International Olympic President and resident of the hotel for 21 years. The Suitebares the colors ochre, chestnut and beige; it is composed of one bedroom, one living room, one office, each one of them has a balcony. It also has two bathrooms, a small one with a shower by the living room and a bigger one accessible through the bedroom, with a shower and a bathtub.
ABOUT THE INCREDIBLE VIEW & SUMPTUOUS BREAKFAST
There are a few places which have an incredible view of both the city and the lake & mountains, and I can say with certainty that the Lausanne Palace is definitely one of those places.
After a good night sleep, we went in the morning for an early tour at the spa. We later came back to the room as we were expecting our breakfast for 8:00. We then unapologetically enjoyed the best photo shooting and eating session EVER with a beautiful view over the city.
ABOUT THE AMAZING BATHROOM
Not only did we have a photo shoot on our bedroom’s balcony, but it wasn’t enough. We also HAD to have another photo shoot in the bathtub. And can I just say, that were in looove with the bedroom’s bathroom!? It is simply magnificent. We enjoyed taking a good late night and morning bath in it. Which is why we couldn’t leave without a rose petal bath and immortalized it in pictures.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SPEND THE NIGHT AT THE LAUSANNE PALACE SPA HOTEL?
- One night at the Lausanne Palace Spa starts around 440.- CHF for a Business room and goes up to 4’500.- CHF for the Coco Chanel Suite.
- And if you want to enjoy the Suite, which I like to call “the apartment”, we had, you would need an investment of 1800.- CHF.

I also would definitely recommend you to visit the Lausanne Palace if you have the chance or if you are in town for a business trip. PS: Also thank you to the team for the gift bag, I love it 😉
