Budva is best known for its beaches and nightlife, but in it, all lovers of nature, culture, art, adventure, as well as parents with children will find something for themselves. The story says Budva is the oldest settlement on the Adriatic coast, founded about two and a half years ago as a Greek commercial port. This ancient city, today best known for its beautiful beaches and nightlife, offers even more so interesting, so every guest in Budva can no doubt find a part of himself.

If you choose to spend a holiday in this Adriatic beauty, you can rest in private accommodation, at the height of the season for 18 euros per person daily in a double room, or 44 euros in the apartment. If you opt for a hotel, the one with three stars will cost you 39-69 euros, and with four stars 38-259 euros. And do not be surprised if you’re at and a hotel employee in uniform greets you dressed in an old Paštrovska costume.

The day in Budva is best to start by the sea. With coffee, juice or beer of about two euros you will enjoy the waves of the waves and the view of the shore. The Budva Riviera hides many beautiful pebbly, rocky and sandy beaches, you just need to find the one that is most pleasing to you. Whether you choose the famous Mogren, Jaz, the Slovenska beach, the one in the small Pržno, or the beach Lučica near Petrovac, you will not make a mistake.

A third of every beach is available to the guests without a reservation, so you can freely lower the towel on the sand and enjoy the sea, and you will find two sun loungers plus a parasol from nine euros to the top. For those with a deeper pocket, there is a famous Royal Beach in Miločer, where two sunbeds with an umbrella cost 88 euros.

You will discover a special charm of Budva if you are having lunch or dinner at some of the picturesque restaurants in the Old Town – the scents of seafood with a glass of good wine will awaken all your senses. Portion of squid will cost from five to 11 euros, salad about two euros, while a kilo excellent saltwater fish comes around 40 euros.

Lovers of culture and art should not miss the Museum of the City of Budva, which, among other things, hides the largest collection of glassware from the Roman era throughout Europe. From the beginning of July, and throughout the summer in Budva, three decades old Festival “City Theater Budva” is held. Then this city turns into an open-air scene where both the visitor and the accidental passerby become participants of the artistic act.

If you spend your summer vacation with the kids, in August, do not miss the children’s theater festival “Theater Wave” in Petrovac, and admission is free for you and for children. The children can enjoy the aqua-park on the hill Topliš, equipped with all possible water attractions.

In addition, Budva also offers water sports and diving, and if you like walks in the greenery, the right choice is the park in Miločer with exotic woods and flowers on 18 hectares. For all of you who are looking for natural beauty, scents of herbs, local food specialties and socialize with simple people, Pobori village, Zeta and Čelobrdo with authentic stone houses, vineyards and olive groves  are waiting for you not far from the coast of Budva.

At about 700 meters above the sea, former fishermen’s houses today have been turned into villas, so the holiday in them is a rescue from the city crowd. Fanciers of hiking trails here can explore numerous well-organized trails, and all those who try to paraglide, a descent to the sandy beaches is waiting on the way to Cetinje.

If after all you have some remaining energy, guaranteed fun awaits you in some of the most famous clubs and discos in Budva.
